A book about the history of the banks and banking families of Bristol from the formation of the 'Old Bank' in Bristol in 1750. Written by a member of the Cave family - a long-established family of bankers.
Notes
The book was printed simultaneously in two editions. A 'Large Paper Edition' of 100 copies and a 'Small Paper Edition' of 300 copies. All appear to have gone to subscribers, who are listed at the end. This digitised copy is identified as 185/300 from the 'Small Paper Edition'.
